In a major win for the local community, a direct bus service will be restored from Chatswood to Royal North Shore Hospital.
New bus route 113 will commence on December 12 and operate hourly Monday-Friday 9am to 3pm and weekends between 9am to 5pm.
Member for Willoughby Tim James welcomed the restoration of this vital service to the hospital.
“So many in our community are reliant on public transport for travel and it is of particular importance to the elderly and sick to have a direct service to the major hospital in our area.” Mr James said.
“Thank you to all who have provided feedback about our local buses, it assists in achieving these wins for the community.”
