NEW RETURN AND EARN NOW OPEN IN NAREMBURN

Residents of Crows Nest, Naremburn and surrounds have greater access to the popular Return & Earn recycling scheme with a new return point now open.

The St Leonards Return and Earn Express site is located at 190 Willoughby Road, Naremburn and will be open from Monday to Saturday 7am to 6pm.

The facility houses reverse vending machines that accept drink bottles and cans for recycling in return for a 10c refund for each container returned.

Member for Willoughby Tim James said “I know that the Crows Nest and Naremburn community is enthusiastic about protecting our natural environment.”

“This new return site means it is now easier than ever to recycle and keep our local area looking pristine.”

Over 9 billion containers have been recycled across NSW since the launch of Return and Earn in 2017 by the Liberals in Government.

“This new site was committed to by the Liberals and it’s great to see local access to this initiative growing with my ongoing advocacy for more locations.” Mr James said.

Other local collection sites are at 329 Penshurst St Willoughby, 19-21 Babbage Rd Roseville, and 1 Little St Lane Cove.
