Solveig Coulon named 2024 Willoughby Local Woman of the Year

Solveig Coulon, Founder of local market Le Marché Willoughby has been named 2024 Willoughby Local Woman of the Year in recognition of her significant work in and for our community.

 

Member for Willoughby Tim James commended Ms Coulon on the honour, recognising her passion and the positive impact she has made to the Willoughby area.

NSW Shadow Minister for Women Leslie Williams congratulated the state’s Local Woman of the Year Award 2024 recipients.

 

“The Local Woman of the Year Award is a wonderful way to recognise the many achievements of local women,” Ms Williams said.

 

“Women are so vital to making our area such a great place to live through their contributions to the workforce, their families and our community”.

 

The Local Woman of the Year Awards is an annual program celebrating outstanding women in local communities. This is a separate program which runs alongside the prestigious Women of the Year Awards program.

 

The Local Women of the Year Awards is part of the NSW Government’s initiative to recognise the accomplishments of women as part of NSW Women’s Week 2024, running 4-10 March, coinciding with International Women’s Day on 8 March.

 

Recipients of the Local Woman of the Year Awards will be hosted at the NSW Women of the Year Awards Ceremony at the International Convention Centre in Sydney on 7 March 2024.
