WILLOUGHBY RECEIVES BOOST IN POLICE NUMBERS

Two new probationary constables commenced duties today (26 June 2023) in the North Shore Police Area Command after they attested at a formal ceremony at the Goulburn Police Academy last Friday.

 

Member for Willoughby Tim James welcomed the new Police officers at the command’s headquarters in Chatswood.

 

“Our local police diligently serve our community and provide a vital public service that keeps us safe.” Mr James said.

 

“I was pleased meet with the new recruits and wish them well in their careers.”

 

Shadow Minister for Police Paul Toole shared his welcome to the enthusiastic new recruits, who come from diverse backgrounds and professional experience.

 

“I am proud to welcome the new recruits into the NSW Police Force, who have taken up the incredibly challenging but rewarding responsibility of serving and protecting the people of NSW,” Mr Toole said.

 

“These probationary constables are helping strengthen the ranks of our modern and world-class Police Force.”

 

The 97 new recruits have completed eight months of foundational training and will report to their stations from today.
